Controller: Rondanini Publishing Ltd (Company No. 16548159), registered in England and Wales.
Site: The Chamber (thechamber13.com and any staging host used before launch).
This notice follows the same Rondanini legal bundle used on RicostruireX: a mostly static editorial site, consent for the list, and PlainConsent before any analytics.
1. Data we process
The public site is mostly static. We do not create user accounts.
The list (newsletter). If you leave an email, we process it only to tell you when a Motion is called. Legal basis: consent (UK GDPR / GDPR art. 6.1.a). The address is written to Brevo (Sendinblue). Mail is sent as The Chamber <13@thechamber13.com>. You may withdraw consent from any message or by writing to the controller.
A gifted Motion. If you pay £1 through Stripe, we process the buyer email, the recipient email, and the payment reference so the Clerk can enter the name on the gifted list. Legal basis: contract (art. 6.1.b) and, for the recipient list, consent where the gift is also a subscription. Processors: Stripe (payment) and Brevo (list and mail).
Admin entrance. The private /admin door uses a strictly necessary session cookie so the Clerk can preview the site. It is not used for advertising.
We may also process, in aggregated or anonymous form:
- technical logs from the host (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL);
- no on-site search is sent to a third-party profiler.
Cookies and analytics. We use PlainConsent — the same banner as other Rondanini sites — to ask before loading analytics. Your choice (accept analytics / essential only) is stored in the browser (localStorage, key the-chamber-consent) and is not asked again until you change it via Cookie settings. See the cookie notice.
2. Purposes and legal bases
- Operating and securing the site — legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f).
- The list — consent (art. 6.1.a), withdrawable at any time.
- Gifted Motion payment and fulfilment — contract (art. 6.1.b).
- Aggregate statistics (only if you accept analytics cookies) — consent (art. 6.1.a).
- Legal duties — legal obligation.
3. Retention
Hosting logs are kept only as long as needed for security and maintenance, under the host’s policy (Netlify). List addresses stay until you unsubscribe. Payment records are kept as required for accounting.
4. Recipients
Technical data may be processed by the host and CDN (Netlify). List and transactional mail go through Brevo. Payments go through Stripe. Each acts as processor or sub-processor in the UK/EU/EEA or with adequate safeguards.
5. Your rights
Under UK GDPR articles 15–22 you may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. You may complain to the ICO (UK). Write to the controller below.
